Denial of Records has Penalties

Denial of Records has Penalties

It seems Makati takes the law seriously and enforces with fines.  The building which was redacted before it was given to me by the Unit Owners did not have the Occupancy Permit posted.  The condominium corporation was fined ₱6,000.00 for Non Posting of Occupancy Permit.  At least the document below is given as required under Section 74 of the Corporation Code.

We have now asked for records and documents as required under Section 74 of the Corporation Code and have been refused many.  Why?

You will see in the reply still refusing documents that the permit to operate the elevators was being secured although they have been running, well some running some of the time, since 2009.  What is going on with paperwork much less installation and our safety?

We have been refused documents and records as stated and this is in continued violation of Section 74 with penalties in Section 144.

Ryan has made several complaints concerning the elevators and along with this the refusal of some associated documents and records, but he has encountered the wall of silence for some and the permit to operate and notices for display are still not answered and remain a mystery.

Here was one of the 17 letters that we had delivered in November-December 2012 followed by a replies from Century Properties and a non-answer open letter distributed by members of the Board of Directors.  The Board open letter was distributed in hard copy and electronically to all Unit Owners at the expense of the condominium corporation among other things insulting us.  The other letters are easily seen at the right side of this page.

Here is the part of the non-answer letter from members of the Board of Directors that is not accurate when placed against the law as read under Section 74.  Here is a document that the condominium corporation has in its possession and refuses to give to members.
