Shared Balconies at Soho Central, too!

The saying is true, you learn something new every day.  So not only the buildings in Makati, but right here at Soho Central we have shared balconies.  Who knows there may be shared balconies in the Shaw Tower I do not know about, too.  The ones I have now been shown are in the Mayflower Tower.

A two-bedroom unit shares a balcony with the unit next door.  This would seem to be the case on other floors as well facing west.  The larger bedroom has a balcony with windows that do not open and there is an air conditioner in the wall to the outside.  But, on that balcony there are two other air conditioning compressors for the split type.  One each for both units.

The bedroom I was in had the larger portion of the balcony while the other unit had only a window and wall air conditioner below it. 

These units have no access to the balcony except through the holes made for the wall-type air conditioners.  So how did they get the compressors out there for the split-type?  Unless the windows with no openings pop out somehow or they moved it through the opening for the wall air conditioners, how else would they place them there?  How will they ever be serviced when needed?

How are the windows ever cleaned?  How is the balcony ever washed?

If anyone knows of other such units, let us know.

These photos were difficult to take given the wide column and windows that do not open.  But, if you look carefully, you will see two wall units and two compressors for the split-type on this shared balcony without access.
